Share Pledge Agreement (Canada)
Agreement granted by a debtor to a creditor in corporate shares to secure payment of a debt.

A lender may want additional assurance that the borrower will repay a debt. This assurance usually takes the form of collateral, property pledged as security for a debt. To ensure that that collateral is collectible in the case of a default, the parties will enter into a security agreement, an agreement that sets out the rights of the lender with regard to the collateral.
This form is designed for situations when the debtor's shares in a corporation will serve as the security.
This form includes special formatting features to assist you in completing the agreement.
This form can be used in the following provinces: Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Northwest Territories, Nova Scotia, Nunavut, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Saskatchewan and Yukon.
