Direction to Bailiff to Repossess - with Indemnity (Canada)
Instructions and authorization given to a baliff instructing him/her to repossess certain property.
Often when personal property is purchased (e.g. a jet ski), payment for the property is made through a finance plan. If the purchaser fails to make payments on the purchased property, the plan allows for the creditor/seller to reposses the purchased property. This form instructs a baliff to repossess the purchased property. It also includes a provision indemifying the baliff (holding him harmless) if a claim is brought against him for the repossession (provided that he/she has not done anything not permitted by law).
